I love this new backdrop I just got. It’s so girly and vintage! This little princess came in for her first birthday portrait session and looked so adorable in her pink birthday dress. What a sweetheart!
It’s always great to meet up with my newborn clients again when they reach new milestone ages! The last time I saw this little girl was when she was only one week old. It was great to see her personality and her beautiful and contagious smile. What a joy!
What a beauty this little girl is! I put a “casting call” shout-out a few weeks back on my facebook page to see if I could get someone in to my studio quickly to model a few lace rompers for an etsy shop. This little one’s mom was the very first to respond. Did I get lucky or what?! She looks like a little Gerber baby model!
This was also my first real session at my home studio. It went really well! We had plenty of room and it was so nice to just set up everything and not have to travel with all of it!
And blowing me a kiss….does it get cuter than this?!
Just wanted to announce the revamped pricing structure which is in effect as of February 1, 2012!
My pricing is now all-inclusive, which includes a disc of files from your session (not all the images shot however, just the best which make it into editing). Pricing is similar to what it used to be, but I have decided to do away with the minimum print order requirement and instead bundle together the session fee to include a disc of digital files and a few prints. Of course, I still will offer professional prints and boutique items (like gallery wrapped canvases), which I still believe are truly the best way to showcase your favorite session images.
Also, clients now also have the option of having their child’s session at my home, which offers some discount because I will not have to travel for those sessions. I have two spaces in my home which can be used for studio set-ups (a finished basement area for one scene set-up and my living room with natural window lighting for a second scene set-up). This would be appropriate for any session during the first year of life, especially first birthday sessions! (As of February if you want a studio-style session it will have to be at my home, otherwise we can do an outdoors session or a casual (aka “lifestyle”) session at your home).

This session was my first newborn twin session. I couldn’t have asked for better little babies or more easy-going parents! The session was so peaceful and the little ones slept so nicely. Mom and dad already seemed like pros and had such confidence! It was really amazing. These were also the teeny tiniest little babies that I’ve ever worked with. The little boy was only four pounds and his sister was almost 6 pounds. Teensy weensy little people! Working with newborns is so amazing, I am always at awe of these little people with all their perfect little features.
