This session was my first newborn twin session. I couldn’t have asked for better little babies or more easy-going parents! The session was so peaceful and the little ones slept so nicely. Mom and dad already seemed like pros and had such confidence! It was really amazing. These were also the teeny tiniest little babies that I’ve ever worked with. The little boy was only four pounds and his sister was almost 6 pounds. Teensy weensy little people! Working with newborns is so amazing, I am always at awe of these little people with all their perfect little features.

So…meet the little ones, Sam & Isabelle.

Meet little baby Landon (without his chef hat on) ;)

I’ve been so absent from my website for the past few months! I’ve been busy doing sessions, and mostly extremely busy with my own kids…so I just didn’t have any time for updating my front page!

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season. Ours was wonderful. I love the magic of the holidays when you have little ones to share it with. This was my youngest daughter’s first year that she can really understand and fully participate in Christmas. She was only just turning two last year, but this year she’s 3 so it was a lot more fun. Watching her talk to Santa was adorable. Lots of fun moments! Here are some highlights that I snapped over the past few months. Happy New Year everyone, I’m so excited about 2012 and meeting new families and your sweet little ones!

Wow, time really does go fast. I cannot believe this little guy is almost one year old already!! This is our fourth session together, and it has been really fun seeing him change and grow throughout the year. I think he is a complete mixture of his mom and dad!

We started our session as a family fall session at Allaire State Park and at the very end we did a small “first birthday cake” portion. Suprisingly, he got really upset and mad when he tasted the cake! He was fine until it got on his hands and into his mouth. At that point things went downhill, but it  was still pretty funny!

And on to the birthday portion. . .

Editing these images bought me so much joy because this family has not had their kids’ pictures taken since they were preschoolers. I’m hoping that these will become treasured images to hold onto and look back upon when these fun kids are all grown up!  These kids are all two years apart, just like my own. It was fun to see what I might be in for seven years from now, when my own kids are these ages. It looks like een the “big kids” are still silly and giggly just like the little kids are!
