About Kristy

Hi! I’m Kristy, the owner and photographer behind Gigglebug Photography. I am based out of the Jersey Shore area and serve central New Jersey including Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties.

I have three children, and working with little kids is definitely my comfort zone. Prior to my photography career I taught preschool and then second grade for several years. I specialize in photography of the first years of life, from maternity through the young school-aged years.  I also enjoy photographing families, pets, and I am one of the only professional birth photographers in the New Jersey/NYC area.

My photography style is fairly casual, with an emphasis on genuine expressions and capturing moments instead of overly posed shots. Most of my sessions with young children actually end up feeling a lot like playtime instead of a photography session!
